| Veni Sancte Spiritus |
Inspired by the quiet stillness of
St. Andrew Catholic Church in Fort Worth, Veni
Sancte Spiritus grew out of evenings spent alone at
the piano after the church had emptied. The piece seeks
to create a contemplative sense of space and passing
time, inspired by the ancient words of the Golden
Sequence: Veni Sancte Spiritus ("Come, Holy
Spirit").
Veni Sancte Spiritus was awarded the Master
Prize in the 2025 Bach International Music Competition
UK.

| Light Breeze and Fugue |
Light Breeze and Fugue starts out flowing and lyrical, leading to the main rhythmic section. Gradually, the music gathers energy and develops into a lively fugue, where the opening ideas return in increasingly intricate and playful combinations.
Light Breeze and Fugue was awarded the Absolute First Prize in Original Composition in the 2025 Beethoven International Music Competition UK.
