Inspired by the quiet stillness of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Fort Worth,
Veni Sancte Spiritus grew out of evenings spent alone at the piano after
the church had emptied. The piece seeks to create a contemplative sense of
space and passing time.
The One Lost Sheep was awarded the Diamond Prize for Original Composition
in the 2025 Carl Reinecke International Music Competition and the
Best Original Composition Prize in the 2025 King's Peak International Music Competition.
